Undercutting
When a player knocks and one of the opponents happens to have an equal or lower deadwood count as the knocking player, is known as undercutting. The player who has the low deadwood count is called the undercutter and he will win the deal.

Setting the Score
As you might have expected, points can be received or subtracted according to the occurrence of either one of the foregoing gaming situations. For each of the possible events the score is dependent on the deadwood count, and a standard number of points are linked to each events.
